Return policy

All returns must be accompanied with a copy of the original invoice and be pre approved by our sales department.E-mail or call our customer service department for approval . We will issue credit on clean and unopened sealed parts only, less shipping and 20% restocking and handling fee. Restocking fee is not applicable in the case of an error on our part.

Sorry, No returns after 30 days! Always read the description on sealed kits to verify proper application before opening. If you are not sure at the time of ordering, order by phone and we will do our best to assist you.

No returns on technical manuals, open rebuild kits, special order items, tools or electrical components ! No exceptions!

Core Return Guidelines

All components (general requirements read first):
  1. In general, the component must be in rebuildable condition to receive core credit, normal wear is OK.
  2. Components must be drained as best as possible and should be wrapped in paper towels or other absorbent material. Components should be in a plastic bag- preferably a zip lock. Shipping companies tend boxes that have oil on the outside because no one wants to handle them. Don't risk losing your core deposit if your component never arrives at our facility.
  3. Package product carefully to avoid shipping damage and possible subsequent loss of core deposit.
  4. We recommend insuring the component for the full core deposit amount should shipping damage occur.
  5. All cores must arrive within 30 days of your original component being received, unless previous arrangements were made and authorized by one of our representitives.
  6. All cores must be clearly marked and be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt or at very least the order number and your name and address. We are not able to figure out to whom a core belongs if the information is not provided to us.

Valve bodies:
  1. In general, the component must be in rebuildable condition, normal wear is OK.
  2. Work carefully, in most cases broken electrical connectors, solenoids, or other damaged components will result in your core being rejected. In many cases, the cost of a damaged electrical component exceeds the cost of the core deposit.
  3. Valve bodies should be wrapped in bubble wrap or other shock protective material to prevent damage from mishandling. The best protection is provided by wrapping the valve body and placing it in a box and then placing that box in another larger box filled with shipping peanuts. Don't risk losing your core deposit if your valve body arrives here damaged. *Using the original packaging material is the easiest and best course of action.

Torque Converters:
  1. In general, the component must be in rebuildable condition, normal wear is OK.
  2. Torque converters must be turned hub side down and allowed to drain for at least two hours in that manner before shipping (converters are impossible to fully drain).
  3. Place cap supplied with your new converter on your old one to keep the remaining fluid from leaking out during shipping (always ship converters with the hub facing up and the outside of the box marked with an arrow as such). If you cannot find the cap, please pack the hub with several sheets of paper towels and put the entire converter in a heavy duty trash bag. The idea here is to avoid leakage of any kind on the way back to us.
  4. The best bet is to ship the converter back in its original packaging to avoid leakage and damage in transport.

Transmissions:
  1. In general, the component must be in rebuildable condition, normal wear is OK.
  2. Any cracks to the case or housing will result in a loss of core deposit.
  3. Drain transmission completely and reinstall torque converter with supplied strap (if applicable).
  4. Remove any surface mounted electrical devices, i.e. manual lever position sensors, speed sensors, wiring, etc. from your old unit. If in doubt, use the new unit as a guide or give us a call.
  5. Remove any extra mounts, dipsticks, brackets, etc. If in doubt, use the new unit as a guide or give us a call.
  6. Complete transmissions must be shipped back in original packaging to receive core credit. If the original packaging in damaged or unacceptable in any way, please call us and let us know before shipping.
